A true 10 out of 10 experience at The Richmond Arms! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and friendliness that we instantly felt at home. Claire and Ian are exceptional hosts — incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making every guest’s stay memorable. The accommodation was fantastic: spotless, comfortable, and full of charm, making it the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the area. The location is ideal too, with the town centre and all the main tourist attractions just a pleasant 20-minute walk away. The food and drink were outstanding. The Traditional Italian Tapas were absolutely delicious, packed with flavour and beautifully presented. The Nachos were superb, and the Cheese Board was the perfect treat to enjoy alongside the excellent selection of craft beers and quality wines available at the bar. The atmosphere throughout the pub was welcoming, relaxed, and full of character — exactly what you hope for from a great traditional pub. Whether you’re visiting for drinks, food, or a stay, The Richmond Arms delivers on every level. Well worth a visit and stay — we can’t wait to return! It was all great there!!!
